The P&C introduced the blog in 2013 and interest has steadily grown. You can join up as a follower, link us into your facebook page or sign up for email alerts when we put in something new.
The purpose of the blog is to provide information to the parents about P&C activities and general information about school activities. If you think you have something interesting to add or experiences you think would be helpful to other parents, you are welcome to make a contribution – you don’t have to be an expert – just have a go.
With the help of parents, over 2013 and 2014, we raised enough money to fund electronic whiteboards throughout the school, got the canteen started one day per week, started a parent volunteer group, and instigated parent class room reps, we moved the uniform shop and engaged in various activities aimed at raising funds and building a feeling of school community.
This year hopes to be an equally exciting year. We hope parents will continue to get involved and you can do this by volunteering for activities
– You can join the parent volunteer group by emailing email@example.com;
– Volunteer to help out the school canteen by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org;
– Join one of the P&C committee’s, or just attend P&C meetings for your own information.
– Become a class room parent representative to help communicate P&C activities to parents by contacting Ange Tulk.
Your comments and suggestions about the blog, potential P&C activities or area you think the P&C could focus some attention are welcome. You can make a comment through this blog or attend the meetings held twice a term on a Wednesday. All meeting dates are in the P&C page
